The Dutch Timber Procurement Assessment Committee (TPAC) invites stakeholders to its forum to share their knowledge on and experience with Keurhout. The forum will contribute to TPAC’s periodical reassessment of Keurhout and will be open from 23 January until 20 February 2019.
At the end of the assessment procedure TPAC will report back on how the forum input have been taken into account. This forum report can be downloaded from the TPAC website.
TPAC assesses timber certification systems and advises the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (I&W) on the outcome. The objective of the Committee is to facilitate the government’s commitment to procure 100% sustainable timber. Next to a set of clear Procurement Criteria for Timber, which have been developed with Dutch stakeholders, TPAC has distinct procedures to ensure that its assessments are transparent, reliable and verifiable.
