The Dutch Timber Procurement Assessment Committee (TPAC) invites stakeholders to its forum to share their knowledge on and experience with STIP. The forum will contribute to TPAC’s assessment of STIP and will be open from 24 July until 22 August 2019.
At the end of the assessment procedure TPAC will report back on how the forum comments have been taken into account. This forum report can be downloaded from the TPAC website.
TPAC assesses timber certification systems and advises the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (I&W) on the outcome. The objective of the Committee is to facilitate the government’s commitment to procure sustainable timber.
